Find great studio, music and other cultural events at the Meany Hall for the Performing Arts. The Mainstage Meany Theater is one of Seattle's acoustic treasures, with 1,206 seat proscenium stage, (with 794 floor and 412 balcony seats) creating an intimate experience for audiences. Danish woven tapestries are displayed on the stage during President's Piano Series and Chamber Music Series. The Studio Theatre is a an intimate black box theater seating 238 and home to a wide variety of performances, including many by UW School of Music, School of Drama and Dance Program. From the brick-paved Central Plaza (Red Square), take the stairs at the NE corner of Meany Hall to the sunken courtyard."
