Just over the river in Lyme, CT is a state park with trails and a small waterfall. A great place to picnic and hike! Just down the road is the Fox Hopyard Golf Course and restaurant. Open to the public, with beautiful outdoor dining - from burgers to more. The vista over the golf course is certainly worth it!

Fairly easy and medium length hike with a great view allow about 2 hours to see everything. Chapman Falls is really nice especially if the water is high.

Great hiking trails and picnic areas. The waterfall is pretty and you can splash about in the shallow pools. Covered bridge also makes a nice photo opp!
