You can hire jeeps to Mandalpatti near Abbey waterfalls. They charge around 2000Rs for a trip. One can plan Sunrise/Sunset tour. We recommend asking them to also take you to Kotte waterfalls. It is a quiet and small fall but you can get into the water.

Most beautiful place to visit when at Madikeri,Kodagu.The panoramic view is breathtakingly wonderful. Hire a jeep with 4 wheel drive n enjoy the off road trip as well
