My recommended fish and chip shop if you want to try the British special. In Scotland, as well as fried fish there are battered sausages, potato fritters and the infamous "pizza crunch" which is pizza, battered and deep fried. I can't say I would recommend.

Chip shop, open late. I recommend the large chips, cheese & curry sauce ...mmm. Also a cafe for a large greasy breakfast / lunch
