Largest beach, volleyball nets in the summer. Can get crowded if weather is nice. You can also walk to Oak Street Beach from here which is smaller and nestled in the city along Lake Shore Drive to the South.

Great view of the skyline. Easy commute from Wicker Park/Damen blue line stop via North Avenue bus. Walk out on the pier for a photo op.

Great place to hit the beach and watch some volley ball. There is a cool bar there called castaways if you want to quench your thirst.

Fantastic beach with boathouse, restaurant, and great bike and walking paths! (You can rent bikes there, too!) Also, a terrific tented restaurant at Oak Street Beach in the summer months. Use the North Avenue pedestrian bridge to pass over Lake Shore Drive and get to the beach.
