There are many entrances to the Blue Ridge Parkway around the area depending on how far you want to drive. Please review all their rules and guidelines ahead of time, its a special road. There are so many amazing views and hikes off of it I don't even know where to start! Bring a picnic and go explore!

A famous destination on many people's bucket list. The blue mountains are spectacular and there are several overlooks with amazing views and lots of wild life. This area is at about a 2.5hr drive from Kannapolis, so it is a great weekend trip.
