From where you can start at the end of Sloat Boulevard, the beach is beautiful, partially still wild. We love sand dollar tides, which come in the early summertime, to early beachcombers. Dogs are welcome on the northern edge close to the Cliff House. And the Cliff House breakfast can't be beat!

You can run through GG park to Ocean Beach and then have lunch or drinks at the Park Chalet. When finished, hop on the N Judah train to get home. One of our favorite outings...

There are cement fire pits set up along the coast where you are legally allowed to have fires and drink beers. Ends at 9 pm but the sun usually sets well before then. Fun with a group!
