El Pescador has the best fresh local fish, clams, calamari, etc. They also have a restaurant. You don’t need to wait in the order line if you’re buying fresh fish. Just saunter right up to the counter.

This place has some of the freshest seafood I have eaten in San Diego. They have excellent sashimi as well as different dishes and sandwiches. They have a great selection of wine and beer. I recommend the grilled octopus sandwich.
