The house is historic and old, just as described. We enjoyed looking at all the old artwork. Bed was comfortable as was the couch (the loft was cute but the ladder made my daughter nervous). There were some cons though. Be prepared for insects as it’s very wooded- we came back after a day out and there were a ton of ladybugs all over the place. Also a couple of spiders. The only rooms that did not have bugs were the bathroom and the king size bedroom. Another con was there was no hot water. We let the shower run for a bit and I had to eventually take a very cold shower. Water pressure in bathroom sink was not great. Shower could use some cleaning as there was a bit of mold. Never felt unsafe, however some landscaping outside might help as I did notice some trash thrown in the bushes. It’s not perfect, but it’s not awful. Host was very sweet though and she gets 5 stars.

Great place! Very unique, very comfortable - everything one could need provided. Quiet and peaceful. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you!
