My hosting philosophy is to be an exceptional host while I striving to save our natural resources. This is all the more essential with our current drought, wild fire season, and fragile power grid. I hope to attract guests who care about Mother Earth and honor my guidelines and efforts. The location is stellar for its proximity to the town. Ione's place feels like we were staying in a special historical place. It is a home, not some corporately owned Airbnb, which adds to the charm. We took care of the place as if it was our own, as we could see all the love and attention and thought that was put into every room. I got to meet Ione as I was leaving and we had a friendly conversation. I hope she changes her mind and finds a way to keep the Airbnb alive, as she mentioned it will only be open until January 2026.

We enjoyed our stay at Ione's place very much. It's a beautiful, quaint house filled with beautiful things. The deck was a great place to relax, the shower was excellent, and the kitchen well-equipped too. Ione was very helpful with checkins and luggage storage, which we appreciated hugely. The town is easily walkable from the house, and the area is quiet.
