The suite was nice and clean when we arrived. The location is absolutely stunning, right at the Wharf. Lovely location to have a stroll. Shake shack is literally 7 steps from the building entrance. However, this was not a great stay and let me explain why.

The host James, was very unresponsive. I have asked him multiple questions, he provided me with short responses, or none whatsoever. When asked about basic bathroom utilities, James never responded. There seems to be no care, or any sort of hospitality portrayed from his end. The listing also had many incorrect information - No basic bathroom utilities. There was no shampoo, no body wash or conditioner. You would need to get your own. The toilet paper was so cheap it was almost see through. You may want to bring your own. There was also no dedicated workspace and the host did not greet you as mentioned on the listing - in fact, the check in process was incredibly inconvenient and frustrating. You are suppose to download an app and create a login and username to then receive and email with a verification pin. Every time you needed to see the info you needed to login and get another pin to your email, it was just inconvenient and a unnecessary hassle. Another thing to mention is that in the apartment, has wall to floors windows, however you are facing a office building that also has floor to ceiling windows. It is very uncomfortable and gives you no privacy whatsoever. You may feel like you are sitting in a fishbowl. There’s also no windows or any sort of natural ventilation. Not to mention, I am pretty sure this Airbnb is operating illegally as throughout the Airbnb instructions you were commended not to tell anyone about the Airbnb, about you, being a guest, or about this being a rental property. It just felt sketchy and made us feel uneasy.

Finally and most importantly, the images on the Airbnb platform of the suite are incorrect. It seems that these images were taken from another sweet, that is similar, but not identical. This is not honourable and not honest and unfortunately, for that reason we were unhappy with our stay.

It is for those reasons that unfortunately we have not enjoyed our stay, and will not be visiting again. If you can look passed all of those things, you should be fine! If not, then I don’t suggest staying here.
