I needed a quiet weekend away from work and technology and this was just the ticket. Had a great time and the property is beautiful. I brought my pup and he loved walking around as well.

I was looking for a quiet place away from the noise and busyness of city and people. The Pond View Cabin was exactly what I was needing. The morning started with sunrise over the pond just outside the front door and the day ended with an easy to use propane firepit under a sky filled with stars. The bed was comfortable with fluffy pillows, the bathroom was clean with plenty of plush towels, and there were special touches throughout like local eatery suggestions with ratings, outdoor games in the screened in dining area, and a very comfy glider overlooking the pond. A great blue heron showed up at sunrise to catch breakfast in the pond. The huskies sang to let everyone know they were awake and at night when it was suppertime. The property manager, a.k.a. Buddy the free roaming Husky, patrols regularly and might keep you company at night by the fire in exchange for a hotdog. I am looking forward to my next visit to the pond as there will most definitely be one.

Jimmy was responsive and attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed. Made sure to leave us swan shaped towels as this was our “honeymoon” after our wedding night. Would recommend this place and would go back. The huskies did not bother us at all. When the air is on and the tv is playing, you cannot hear them! Loved listening to them in the morning when we woke up and at night before bed.
