Beautiful spot at the mouth of the longest river that starts and ends in Catalunya. The end of the 250 km Ruta Del Ter (a cycling and walking route linking two poles of attraction, the Pyrenees and the Costa Brava, via an itinerary following the course of the River Ter and crossing five Catalan countries) offers a great starting point for a long hike, fishing, swimming or just laying around on a beach miles from the built up areas.

This is the dog-friendly beach about 20 mins drive from Begur. You head for Torroella de Montgri but turn off before you get to the roundabout. We love this beach for its 'wildness'. There are no facilities, just a long sandy beach and nothing else. Our dog loves playing in the sea, often with other dogs.

Reserva natural. Precioso para ver la salida del sol... se puede ver el inicio del río y el mar y las illas medas. Se ha convertido en un rincón artístico dónde se hacen figuras con troncos y palos que trae el mar.
