Great little Italian spot! Not in downtown, but a short drive or Uber. Outside seems sketchy, but inside feels like you were transported to Italy!

This is the best Italian restaurant in the Triangle (it has won best restaurant award for the Triangle several times). It's not downtown and is tucked away in a strip mall but don't let that fool you. It's also not insanely expensive. You can make your meal expensive but you can also make it very reasonable if you try. You've got to get the broccoli. I don't know how they get broccoli to be so amazing.

We don't normally recommend places that aren't right downtown... but this one is a rare exception. Incredible Italian food, unpretentious but warm atmosphere, just awesome.

Small Italian-inspired family restaurant that opened to good reviews. Call for reservation or go early. The dishes are continental in style with small local vegetable dishes, pasta courses, meat.

Though this gem of an Italian restaurant is located on a dismal strip mall portion of Guess Road, its interior decor and superbly prepared food more than make up for it. It is arguably the best run kitchen in the Research Triangle Park.
